The Class 3 are made more with outdoor use in mind. These scooters are designed to be used on roads and pavements. They are larger in size and power; also they are much faster than the Class 2. They normally are equipped with standard vehicle accessories like rear-view mirrors, reflectors, headlights and others. They have a longer battery life and tougher tires, for extended driving.

When making a final decision on the type of scooter that you will purchase, consider the fact that there are several scooters for every need. Not in all cases will a large, robust scooter will be necessary, or could be the other way around: a small lightweight cheap mobility scooter might not be best suited to your needs. It is important that at all times you check the specifications of the item before you make your purchase.
