What is RockTape? Meet the cool cousin of KT tape

Let’s start with what RockTape is not. It definitely is not the demo you recorded with your garage band way back when you fantasized of rock stardom. Those dreams never came to fruition, and that’s okay. You don’t have to be a rockstar to rehab like one. Come to think of it, RockTape provides an entirely different sort of rehabilitation; the type associated with kinesiology – only cranked up all the way to 11. This is the kind of tape that someone like Chris Jericho might use – the Ayatollah of Rock 'n' Rolla after all is not only a world-class athlete but also the frontman of his very own heavy metal outfit. And now you can be the kind of dude that wears the band’s t-shirt to the show; not only can you use RockTape but make damn sure everybody knows you are too.

Thanks to RockTape you might as well jump (jump!), so go ahead, jump (jump!). Because this product can help you in the treatment of jumper’s knee, as well as many other injuries such as:

  • Achilles tendonitis.
  • Plantar fasciitis.
  • ACL/MCL problems.
  • Rotator cuff.
  • Groin and hamstring pulls.
  • Lower back pain.
  • Shin splints.
  • Postural correction.
  • Skin and abrasion protection (gotta watch out for the pyro).
  • Tennis and golf elbow.

Wait, tennis and golf elbow? Well, I guess if golf is good enough for Alice Cooper it can’t really be that bad. And like Vincent Furnier’s skin, RockTape is pretty stretchy as well. In fact, it can stretch twice as much as other tape brands and is much more versatile. In other words, if other tapes are The Ramones or the Sex Pistols, RockTape is Pink Floyd. So much so that it can actually block the transmission of pain signals to the brain and reduce swelling and inflammation, effectively making you feel comfortably numb. Additionally, it delays muscle fatigue, stabilizes muscle tone, and distributes physical stress evenly to nearby parts of the body.

RockTape is just as easy to apply as regular tape. However, unlike regular tape, RockTape is not meant to immobilize but is designed to not only allow but promote movement.  This tape is hypoallergenic, acrylic-based, latex-free, and waterproof – it can be left on for up to 5 days. Just don’t do like Lady Gaga and fashion yourself a dress consisting solely of RockTape.
